Our Story

Our story began as Asti's Long Term Care Pharmacy, a company founded on personal commitment, trusted service, and a deep understanding of the long-term care community. As our company grew, so did our vision. What started with a strong local foundation evolved into a broader mission to provide innovative, reliable pharmacy solutions for the people and organizations we serve.

The transition from Asti's Long Term Care Pharmacy to ColtRx marked an important step forward in that mission. The name "Colt" was created by bringing together two essential parts of our identity: "CO" for compounding and "LT" for long-term care. With "Rx" keeping our pharmacy purpose at the center, ColtRx represents who we are today—a company that honors its roots while continuing to grow, adapt, and move forward with purpose.

That spirit is reflected in our logo. A colt — a young horse in its prime — embodies exactly what we strive to bring to pharmacy care every day. Colts are known for their strength, energy, and eagerness to move forward. They are agile and responsive, able to adapt quickly without losing their footing. They are built for endurance, not just speed. And at their core, they are loyal — animals that form deep bonds of trust with those they serve. These are not just qualities we admire.
